CAPTAIN LOBSTER
I co-created a sci-fi film with artist Zoe Wilton for Co-Motion, commissioned for Where Are We Now? — Falmouth Art Gallery’s Summer 2025 exhibition exploring art and technology in Cornwall.
The film, Captain Lobster was written by Zoe Wilton and highlights Wilton’s practice as an improvised dancer, musician, painter, poet, and filmmaker. Blending elements of musical and absurdist theatre, it is guided by a surreal and hypnotic soundtrack created in collaboration with Stuart Blackmore of CLING CLACK Studios. Together, image and sound form a dreamlike narrative that is both humorous and otherworldly.
Zoe Wilton is a prize-winning artist working across film, fashion, painting, photography, poetry, and music.
